Joshua is a journalist who covers a broad array of criminal justice issues, but his writing has a special focus on sex offender policies, the use of cash bail, and substance use in rural Pennsylvania. He was a 2016 John Jay/Harry F. Guggenheim criminal justice reporting fellow, and received a 2016 president’s award for excellence in news reporting recipient from Lee Enterprises. He was also a 2017 John Jay/Measures for Justice reporting fellow.
