This page identifies all of the counties that will be electing their prosecutor (district attorney, or state’s attorney) and/or sheriff in 2020. It also contains information about filing deadlines and election dates. Note: This list number could grow if more vacancies trigger special elections. We also have a separate spreadsheet that lists candidates who are running soon after a state’s filing deadline.
You can also visit our timeline of when each county in the nation is voting for its prosecutor or sheriff.
